Louisiana
The 18th state of the United States, Louisiana is known for its rich history, lively culture, and incredible cuisine. New Orleans, famous for its jazz music and Mardi Gras celebrations – and parades! There’s always a parade in New Orleans. And don’t get me started on the food. Many foodies agree that Louisiana – and N’awlins in particular- is where it’s at for foodies. I say bring on the gumbo and po’boys.
Lafayette and nearby Lafourche Parish are known as the heart of Cajun country, serving up spicy crawfish étouffée and boudin – which I learned to pronounce as Boo-da and say it fast.
Don’t forget the Bread Pudding!

Louisiana Weather
The weather in Louisiana is super hot, humid & sticky in the summer months. The winter months are temperate and actually quite nice._
