It was a dark and stormy night. Wellll, no. It was a cold and sunny day. And, I was home, alone, and made a call to book my hotel stay at Marriott and that’s when I got hooked on the Marriott Vacation Club Singer Island. But, first, let me back up just a bit.

If you don’t want to read the whole post, I’ll save you the trouble. You can get a screaming deal at Marriott Vacation Club stay! Marriott Reservations For Marriott Vacation Club

I usually make all my travel plans online. It’s just so easy-peasy. Log on, hit a few buttons and business done. But, this day, This day I called Marriott and spoke to a live person so I could confirm my reservation. The representative confirmed that my reservation was just fine and all was good. And, I was just about to hang up when the rep said that I qualified for a SPECIAL OFFER. I was intrigued.

Skeptical & Suspicious

I am a skeptic. And, I always think people are trying to rip me off. I don’t know why. I just don’t trust the vast majority of salespeople and I ALWAYS think there is a catch. (Usually I am right).

In this case, since I called Marriott and not the other way around, I figured their SPECIAL OFFER was probably legit, but I figured it wouldn’t be very special and probably not much of an offer at all, just some smoke & mirrors, but not a real deal.

Marriott Rocks!!

According to the representative, I qualified for a stay at a Marriott Vacation Club property. We could pick where I went and had up to one year to use my vacation. They don’t really tell you why you qualify, but I believe I qualified for this deal because I’ve been a Marriott cardholder for quite few years and have stayed at Marriott properties many times. We’ve stayed at tons of Marriott’s all over the United States including our fair share in Florida, you can see my reviews here and here of other properties I’ve liked.

After our conversation, I did research other Marriott Vacation Club properties to make sure the Singer Island property was the best choice for our family. I also called in and talked to a MVC representative about some specific questions I had on the properties. They answered my all my questions, and told me I could change our stay to another property if I wanted to,.

Marriott Vacation Club Singer Island Florida

The property we stayed at in West Palm Beach/Singer Island FL was absolutely top notch. We were staying in a villa that was absolutely huge with 2 beds and 2 baths, plus a full kitchen, fabulous furnishings and an awesome balcony. The place was deluxe 4.5 – 5 stars. It was a very, very nice resort overall. This place is really to-do-for! I totally fell in love with Singer Island and Marriott’s Ocean Palms. This Marriott Vacation Club deal was like a dream. I want this offer all the time. I’ll sit through a timeshare presentation monthly if I can go back somewhere like Oceana Palms!! It was glorious!

Beauty On The Beach

The location was beachfront which was awesome! In addition, the pool and hot tub were absolutely gorgeous. And, we really enjoyed the onsite restaurant and bar. The fitness center had everything we needed for a good workout and although we didn’t have little kids to try out the kids club, there were plenty of kids there that looked like they were having a blast. The Oceana Palms Marriott Vacation Club really had everything we needed and there would’ve been no reason to hardly leave the resort. We did have other things planned for our Singer Island vacation so we did venture out, but other than there only being one restaurant on site, I could’ve totally stayed here and been content.

The Timeshare Presentation

So, one of the stipulations for this offer is that you must agree to attend a 90 minute timeshare presentation during your stay. If you and your spouse don’t go; you’ll have to pay full price for your stay. Ouch!!

We arrived at our scheduled appointment about 5 minutes early and saw there were quite a few couples in the waiting area. The receptionist greeted us and offered us various soft drinks and snacks. And, within about 5 minutes the representative came to get us and away we went to his office. I knew going in that we were NOT going to buy a timeshare. We like to travel where we want and when we want. Plus, we never stay anywhere close to as nice as this property and I knew to buy in would be more money than we wanted to invest.

If I were in the market for a timeshare, I would totally buy with Marriott and I would probably buy at the Marriott Vacation Club Singer Island. It was stunning. Marriott is a solid company that has impressed me with their service and high standards for quite some time. This entire experience has only elevated them in my eyes.

Final Thoughts

To sum it up, this was a rockin’ deal. For about $399 we got a 4 night stay in a 2 bed/2 bath beachfront villa that usually goes for over $600 per night! Plus, we received a $50 giftcard. All for 90 minutes of our time and a couple of phone calls to set it up. Yes, please! Sign me up for another offer like this ANYTIME! Tell me if you get this offer!
